Overview

The Value Resorts at WDW are a series of hotels on property that offer Disney value for a budget price. Each of the five resorts offer nicely appointed rooms, pools, jogging paths, food courts, shops, and transportation to and from each of the Disney parks. The five resorts are: The All-Star Movie, The All-Star Music, The All-Star Sports, The Pop Century and The Art of Animation (WDW’s newest hotel). If your family is on a budget, these resorts offer the best of Disney magic without breaking the bank. That is to say, it is the least expensive (short of camping at Fort Wilderness) option for staying on property. It is also worth mentioning that these hotels are just plain neat. The theming is amazing- from the front desk to the bathrooms.

Cost

To understand the cost of staying at a Value Resort, I must go through a series of explanations. The costs vary. First, the cost depends on the season. Next, it depends on the resort. It also depends on the room itself and the location of the room. The bigger the room, the closer it is to desirable areas within the resort, the higher the cost.

Generally, the cost seasons for 2013 can be broken down as follows:

Value Season- August 4- September 14
Peak Season- March 8- 23 and December 13-19
Regular Season- February 24-March 7 and April 7-May 30
Summer Season- May 31- August 3
Fall Season- September 15-December 12
Holiday Season- March 24- April 6 and December 20-31

Please note that the seasons are subject to change.

You can expect different dates, but the same guidelines, for future years. Diva Tip: If you are flexible about dates for your trip, look closely at the cost seasons. You can save A LOT of money by travelling during the Value Season!

Rooms that are closer to the pool or food courts will mean more cost. These rooms are referred to as Preferred.

While the prices do fluctuate a bit, I have compiled a list of the approximate rates for this next year at the Value Resorts. The approximate cost by Value Resort for 2013 can then be broken down as follows:
