HEAR YE! HEAR YE! The royal princesses of Walt Disney World have moved into a new home as of today! They will no longer be in the Town Square Theater on Main Street, but will instead be at the Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland.

This beautiful new setting took the place of the Snow White’s Scary Adventure ride right next to the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. Given to Cinderella by her Father-in-law so she could invite all of her friends over, the Fairytale Hall has room to meet four different princesses. Cinderella and Rapunzel will be present every day, and each day each princess will be visited by another princess friend. There is no guarantee who the visiting princess will be each day, but it should be the same princess all day long. The most exciting thing about the Princess Fairytale Hall (at least to me) is that all 9 princesses are welcome to visit Cinderella or Rapunzel, even Pocahontas! While both Belle and Merida are unlikely to be seen visiting, since they already have their own meet and greet areas, there is still a chance to see them visiting every once in a while. There will even be a chance that Anna (Frozen) will be visiting once she has been introduced to the parks.

The meeting place for each princess
Each princess has a quill in case someone forgets their pen for autographs

FastPasses are available both in paper form and for FastPass+ on the MagicBands. But make sure you pay attention to which princess you are getting a FastPass for. Cinderella and her visiting princess and Rapunzel and her visiting princess have two separate lines and two separate FastPasses. Once in line you can not jump to the other, you will either have to leave and get in the other line, or meet the princesses you are in line for and go to the other line. (Undercover Tip: Rapunzel is expected to be more popular, so if you have to get only one FastPass, get it for her. If you have a MagicBand, the best way is to get a FastPass for one on your MagicBand and a paper one for the other.)

The building has been beautifully redone. There are six portraits once the que enters the ‘Royal Gallery’ that were hand painted by the same artist who created the banners for the Storybook Circus. At the end of the gallery is Cinderella’s glass slipper that sparkles beautifully, drawing guests in. (Undercover Tip: You will not be allowed to take a picture next to the slipper while you wait. Either be prepared to take a quick one as you walk by or attempt to take a good one while you wait in line. The Cast Members will be very strict about this.)

The glass slipper actually twinkles!

Keep an eye out for all the little details that have been worked into the design. Cinderella’s wallpaper has a glass slipper towards the top and Rapunzel’s wallpaper has roses worked into the design. There are books on each side dedicated to the other princesses, written in their original languages. Snow White’s story is always out an open as homage to the ride that was once in it’s place. The book ends that hold the books together are the same ones from Cinderella that the King pushes together when he becomes frustrated by the Prince not choosing a wife. Also, the stain glass on the front has details of many of Cinderella’s little friends. The crown that has been chosen to represent the Princess Fairytale Hall is Aurora’s, since it is most regal looking.

In Order: Frozen, Beauty and The Beast, Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Brave and Sleeping Beauty

Guest will be happy to find out that during the Halloween and Christmas parties, any princess inside the Fairytale Hall will also have her Prince with her (which unfortunately means that Belle and Mulan will never be scheduled for a party, Merida is still up for debate).

Also random to note, watch for the ‘Exit’ signs that are one of the fanciest ever made by Disney.
