100_3231Welcome to the Magic Kingdom, where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn – together. Once you walk under the railroad tracks you become emerged into a world unlike any other. Main Street, designed after Walt Disney’s hometown, draws you into the park with all the sights, smells and sounds of a classic town. You can smell the cotton candy from the Confectionery, you can hear the Dapper Dans singing, and of course more than anything you see Cinderella’s Castle drawing you even further into the park. As you walk up to Cinderella’s Castle it’s hard not to be impressed by it’s stature, but if you walk through it, you will be even more impressed.

Along the walls are mosaics that have been beautifully crafted with the story of Cinderella. And if you look closely then you will see some detail in the mosaic that are also in the Dream Suite. On the other side of the Castle you will be let out into the fantastical world of Fantasyland.

Here Imagineers give you a medieval town during a celebration. The flags are blowing in the wind, the colors are bright and happy and the music makes you want to dance. The Prince’s horses help draw you farther into to this festive celebration, and all around you can see the royal servants in their bright blue, pink and purple attire. The courtyard is a buzz with activity and rides like Mickey’s Philharmagic, Peter Pan’s Flight and ‘it’s a small world’. And don’t forget to stop in and say hello to Cinderella and all her princess friends!

100_3311Just beyond the castle walls, more excitement awaits, but can there be anything good in the Enchanted Forest? Pay particular attention to the castle walls. On one side they are bright and well kept, and on the other they are starting to decay. The plants are growing against them and they have started to lose their luster. Here The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales with Belle and Under the Seas – Journey of the Little Mermaid invite you to take a ride. And don’t forget to keep your eye out for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride.

100_4020Who knows what kinds of creatures you may find roaming around the Enchanted Forest, especially within the run down walls of the castle. But more than anything, adventure awaits those who are brave enough to travel beyond the castle walls.

Next time you find yourself in Fantasyland, take a second to look around and really take in your surroundings. Each element is meticulously thought through and planned out so that you would have an experience unlike any other.
