Ever wondered what it would be like to dine in the Beast’s castle? Well now thanks to the newest addition to the Magic Kingdom, you can! The Be Our Guest restaurant in New Fantasyland is, in my opinion, one of the best dining experience in Walt Disney World.IMG_3829
IMG_3923For most of the restaurants in Disney World the magic happens when you step inside of the restaurant. As for Be Our Guest, the magic starts right when you walk up to the welcome kiosk in front of the castle. You are greeted with a “Bonjour” from the CM’s who are more than happy to help you with your journey into the Beast’s castle. You walk down a long draw bridge complete with gargoyles looking over a river and the Beast’s castle off in the distance. When you arrive at the big gates you wait for the host to announce your name. You are then escorted through the huge wooden doors into the reception area which leads to the Grand Ballroom.

You have a choice to sit in either the Rose Room, the Grand Ballroom or the forbidden West Wing. Tip: If youIMG_3900 would like to choose the room, make sure to tell the CM at the welcome kiosk when you first arrive where you would like to enjoy your meal.

IMG_3841When you walk into the Grand Ballroom it feels like you have been sucked into your television set into the movie Beauty and the Beast. If you close your eyes you can hear Mrs. Potts sing as Belle and the Beast dance around you in their ballroom attire. Snow falls outside of the window towards the back of the ballroom and lightening flashes in the West Wing in the room to the left.IMG_3907

This is a high priced restaurant ($24-34). There are two option for dining here, quick service lunch and reservation only dinner. Tip:This is an extremely popular dining experience, if you would like to dine in the Beast’s castle you MUST make your reservation 180 out.

(Dinner)

When you are seated you are handed a menu featuring mouth watering French cuisine inspired dishes. Dishes like Herb-crusted Lamb Rack and Pan-seared Salmon on Leek Fondue are crowd favorites. Main Street Diva Recommendation: The Grilled Strip Steak is my personal favorite.  Princes and Princesses who are 21 and up can enjoy French wines and beers.

Well now that you had a dinner that was magnifique, only one thing is left…Dessert!

Ever wanted to reach into the television and try some of Lumiere’s Gray Stuff? I heard it’s delicious! At Be Our Guest your childhood dream of trying the gray stuff becomes a reality. The Gray stuff along with a few other delectable desserts are available.IMG_3878

Gluten Free? No problem, Mrs. Potts has got you covered! Mrs. Potts and Chip, along with the help of the chef, will make sure to whip you up a mouth-watering meal that is gluten free! Tip: When making your reservation, be sure to check off the option explaining your food allergy.

After supper you are invited to say hello to your host, the Beast! When I met him, I assured him that I did not sit in his chair! (As Cogsworth said when Maurice first arrived at the castle that cold night, “Not the Master’s chair!”)

Be Our Guest is now testing out a new fastpass+ system for their quick service lunch. You can make fastpass reservation for this restaurant (this does not count as one of your allotted 3 fastpasses.) You can also stand on line to wait to eat here for lunch starting at 10:30 a.m.

Tip: If you would like to get a fastpass for this restaurant you must make it within a 60 day window.

There are many items on the menu that Lumiere has put together for you to try! This quick service lunch menu has the same French-inspired flare like dinner, just on a smaller scale. An array of items such as delicious salads, sandwiches and desserts are the perfect lunch while spending a day at the Magic Kingdom.

This restaurant is defiantly my number one pick for dining in the Magic Kingdom. Be sure to make a reservation as soon as you can, Lumiere and his friends are waiting for you to be their guest!
