Would You Rather? Walt Disney World Edition

Would You Rather? Walt Disney World Edition

A couple of years ago my youngest son went through a stage of playing the “Would you rather…” game with me. I imagine he picked it up from his friends at school. I admit that at the time his version of the game didn’t exactly thrill me. He would randomly walk up to me and ask something like, “would you rather be hit by a big semi or fall off a cliff?” Ummm….excuse me? Is that even a real question? My answer is a big fat “NEITHER ONE” bud, but gee, thanks for asking me such a disturbing question.  Needless to say, Would You Rather was not my favorite game.

I have since found myself randomly asking my husband questions out of the blue though.  I finally realized I was playing a version of the Would You Rather game with him, only my game was all about Walt Disney World.  I would ask him questions like, “If you had to choose between a Dole Whip or a cotton candy from Casey’s Corner..which would you choose?”  See, it’s a variation of the Would You Rather game, right?  So I decided to create a short game of Would You Rather?  Walt Disney World Edition to play with you, our readers.  I will give you some questions, and I’ll even give my answers below the questions.  Feel free to answer which scenario with your answer in the comments, and also feel free to ask any would you rather question to us in the comments, I think it will be fun to continue the game with all of you.

Epcot's Mission Space

Mission Space

Question 1: Would you rather ride Epcot’s Mission Space orange side or green side?  For me, I usually choose the green side.  The orange side tends to make my eyes water a LOT, not to mention the slight queasy feeling in my stomach.  I’m kind of getting light-headed thinking about it now.

Animal Kingdom's Flight of Passage in Pandora

Avatar Flight of Passage

Question 2: Would you rather enjoy simulated flight on Epcot’s Soarin’ Around the World or Animal Kingdom’s Avatar Flight of Passage in Pandora?  Honestly, since the opening of Avatar Flight of Passage, this attraction has become my absolute favorite in all of Walt Disney World.  The detail in the land of Pandora is amazing and the simulation on the back of the banshee is far superior to the simulation on Soarin’ Around the World.

Broken Track on Expedition Everest

Hollywood Studios Rock N Rollercoaster

Rock n Rollercoaster

Question 3: Would you rather conquer the Himalaya’s and brave the fierce yeti on Animal Kingdom’s Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, or rock out while riding in a stylish limo in Hollywood Studios Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith?  Okay, this one for me is kind of tough.  Not because I love coasters but more because I’m not crazy about the loop on Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster and when Expedition Everest goes backwards, it tends to give me a headache, so they both have a drawback.  Of the two choices, though, I’m going to have to go with Expedition Everest.  I can handle it much better than I can that loop!

Question 4: Would you rather have a meet and greet with Disney heroes and princesses or have a meet and greet with Disney villains.  As much as I love the good guys, for me the most fun meet and greet interactions have been with the villains.  Not only are most of them more rare to see than the good guys, they can actually be pretty funny!

Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror

Tower of Terror

Question 5: Would you rather have an encounter with the many spirits on Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion, or brave a haunted elevator on Hollywood Studios Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  I seriously LOVE Haunted Mansion.  It doesn’t matter how many times I ride it, it never gets old for my.  Haunted Mansion is my clear choice for the win on this one.

Slinky Dog Dash car at Hollywood Studios Toy Story Land

Slinky Dog Dash

Question 6: Would you rather mine for gems with seven of the most adorable miners around on Magic Kingdom’s Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train, or play with giant toys while riding on the back of Slinky Dog on Hollywood Studios newest coaster, Slinky Dog Dash?  As much as I love Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train, I’m going to have to choose Slinky Dog Dash on this one.  While both rides are smooth and adorably themed, Slinky Dog Dash is actually a little longer than Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train, hence my vote.

First car of the day at Epcot's Test Track

Test Track

Question 7: Would you rather race against the competition at Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Speedway, or help design the fastest and most efficient car and test out your design by zooming around at Epcot’s Test Track?  No brainer for me, I will always love zooming around the loop on Test Track.

Question 8: Would you rather ride Magic Kingdom’s train, the Walt Disney World Railroad, around all the different lands, or hop aboard the train at Animal Kingdom and check out Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch?  Hmm..this is kind of tough one for me.  Both can be a relaxing way to rest your feet, but I actually don’t ride either of them very often.  I think I’ll choose the Walt Disney World Railroad for no other reason than the fact that it’s named after Walt Disney.

Magic Kingdom's The Hall of Presidents

The Hall of Presidents

Question 9: Would you rather learn about American history from Epcot’s The American Adventure, or be educated about all of the United States presidents in Magic Kingdom’s The Hall of Presidents?  Again, I find this one a little tough, but I’ll go with The Hall of Presidents.  The seats are very comfortable and I enjoy looking at all of the artifacts in the holding room before the show begins, I mean…there’s even a hidden Mickey in there guys.

Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom

Question 10: Would you rather sleep in and stay late, arrive at rope drop and take a break later or hit the parks from rope drop until park closing?  If you have EVER read any of the articles I have personally written, you will know that we are the rope drop until close family.  Our kids aren’t small and don’t require naps and we are not quite at the age where we require naps yet either, so this option works great for us.

This game could go on for a very long time when you consider how many attractions, shows and restaurants Walt Disney World has, so I think I’ll stop at ten.  Don’t let that stop you from the fun though.  Come up with some of your own “would you rather” scenario’s to play with your family, friends and us at Tips From the Disney Diva.  I would love to see the fun continue and hear what options you come up with!
