For 23 years, there has been an important event at Disneyland called the CHOC Walk. This event brings millions of dollars each year to Children’s Hospital Orange County. Last year there were over 15,000 participants in this walk through Disneyland to raise money for children’s programs at the hospital. Won’t you consider being a part of the Walk this year? The walk takes place at the Disneyland resort on Sunday, October 23, 2013. Information can be found here.

Last Thursday, there was a special pre-event held at CHOC so that children who are in-patient in the hospital and unable to participate in the walk at Disneyland, were able to be a part of the event. This event was called Minnie’s Walk.

Our friends over at Babes in Disneyland were able to attend the event, and along with Disney VoluntEARS led over 200 children along with Minnie Mouse through the hospital on a walk of their own. The lobby was even decorated by Disney!

As a Disneyland Annual Passholder for over fifteen years, it is clear that I love to be in the parks! I am a huge fan of all things Disney, but mostly the Muppets and Flynn Rider. On many weekends you can find me sipping a Mint Julep in New Orleans Square at Disneyland with my Disney loving husband and my two Disney loving children plotting which ride to go on next. I am Editor and Co-Director of the Tips from the Disney Diva site.
