There are many opinions on what draws visitors to Disney year after year.  For our family, the entertainment, the ease of travel and the number of activities for all ages is a big part of that draw.  But if we’re being honest, the food is really what keeps us returning.

There is truly a flavor for every member of our family. Taste preferences, diet (meaning vegetarian-not limited calories!), allergies and health concerns are all easily addressed within Disney parks.  And of course, we all have our favorites.

That is why we decided to try our luck with one of Disney Parks’ own cookbooks.

Delicious Disney, The Disney Chefs with Pam Brandon

Delicious Disney, The Disney Chefs with Pam Brendon is an amazing collection of recipes from Disney World Parks and Resorts, Disneyland, Disney Vacation club properties and Disney Cruise Lines. What initially drew us to this book was the diversity between recipes.  Favorite kids meal, check; mouth-watering dessert, check; high-end entrée from a signature restaurant, check- recreating your memorable Disney dining experience has never been so easy.

Now, this book is not organized like your traditional cookbook.  You won’t find a list of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  Instead, it is organized in true Disney fashion…by the experience of course!  The organization and examples of included recipes are highlighted below.

This enticing sampling is just the beginning of what is offered in Delicious Disney, The Chefs with Pam Brandon.  And now that you know where to find the recipes I am sure you are wondering how difficult it will be to recreate these delectable creations.  I have to tell you that the processes used in this cookbook are not difficult at all! As long as you are comfortable in the kitchen you should be able to handle all the recipes included in Delicious Disney!

As a family, we have personally conquered the Loaded Baked Potato Soup, Peanut Butter Pie and Artist Point’s Berry Cobbler.

The soup was meant as a starter for our Christmas meal but ended up replacing all the other food we had prepared.  It was truly so delicious that we went for soup seconds and wrapped our entire meal up for the next day!

As for the desserts, well they were created to be served to a girl’s varsity soccer team.  Again, crazy delicious and gone within minutes!
