Shopping

The stores at Downtown Disney have changed significantly since it opened in 2001. Some, like a cool one called Tin Pan Alley, I was sorry to see leave. Others, like the Anne Geddes store, I did not notice gone until a new store moved in.

Let’s begin with the stores that offer services for the Downtown Disney or Disneyland Resort guest. There’s an Alamo Rent A CarTravelex (good for converting foreign currency) and Walt Disney Company Travel Services (good for adding options to your vacation).

There are also the following fun stores:

Apricot Lane Boutique
This clothing and accessories shop offers scarves, hats, belts, shoes and designer duds.

Blink by Wet Seal
Also a clothing store, this shopping experience has a focus on young ladies and offers jeans, clothing and accessories.

Build-A-Bear-Workshop
Find your child’s new little buddy here, where you can stuff your own bear/animal and clothe him, too!

Disney Pin Traders
This small set up is big on trading pins!

Disney Vault 28
Disney merchandise with a bit more of a hip vibe.

D Street
If you are looking for theme park merchandise with an edge, this is your place. Look for fashionable tee shirts with your favorite Disney characters on them, as well as other pop culture favorites. This shop is for men and women and in addition to clothing, offers toys and other fun items.

ESPN Store
Look for  ESPN Zone clothing and merchandise here.

Fossil
Stylish watches, handbags, wallets and sunglasses.

House of Blues
House of Blues merchandise, as well as some rock wear and original art.

The Lego Store
This store recently went through a renovation and it looks awesome! Inside, you can find just about any Lego on the planet and the store is almost always packed full of kids and adults alike. Upstairs and outside the store are some Lego tables set up for playing fun. There is usually a Lego store employee watching the tables and often the employees will engage in some Lego building fun. This is the second largest Lego store in the country folks!

LittleMissMatched
If you are looking for bright, colorful, creative socks for your little girl, this is the place. Socks are sold in packs of three so as to allow you to create your “signature” look.

Marceline’s Confectionery
If you missed a treat inside the park, look no further than the candy store outside the park at Downtown Disney. Here you can find the adorable candy apples, delicious chocolate treats, seasonal candy and flavored popcorn that is available within the theme park.

Pearl Factory
This store specializes in creating unique personal jewelry from fresh saltwater pearls.

Quicksilver
If you forgot your swimsuit then look no further than this store which offers beach wear, and during the winter months some winter wear for men and women. Diva Tip: Great place for flip flops.

Rainforest Cafe Retail Shopping Village
The tropical rain forest setting for this shop is fun. It is connected to the restaurant. This is the place for stuffed animals, clothing, and small gifts with the rain forest theme.

Ridemakerz
One of Downtown Disney’s newest shops allows you to create your very own race car or truck- remote controlled of course!

Sanuk
If you are looking for comfortable sandals, this is your place!

Sephora
The well known French boutique has a shop in Downtown Disney. Look here for perfumes, hair products, make up, lotions and hair accessories.

Something Silver
A jewelry store with fun items made by both international and local artists.

Studio Disney 365
Before I had my daughter I used to cringe at the loud music, pink tutus and well, girly energy, coming out of this place. Now D’land Diva Baby Girl points to it excitedly whenever we pass by. This is ultimate dress up experience before entering the park. You can also dress like your favorite TV star, and get your picture taken.

Sunglass Icon
A store with a large selection of sunglasses.

WonderGround Gallery
A newer store that offers unique artwork from Disney films and of Disney characters.

World of Disney
This is the ultimate Disney store. It is in this LARGE store that you can find a ton of Disney souvenirs  from clothing to Mickey shaped pasta. It is a good place to get your souvenir  as it is located right across from the tram loading zone that takes you to the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

Have a great shopping trip!
