So we all know that Disney makes the best movies ever.  How do you even begin to choose your favorite?  Are classic animated Disney movies the best?  What about Pixar? Do you look for a life lesson to take away, or for the Prince to come in and save the day? Here are some of the Disney Diva and Devos all-time favorite Disney movies.
Dopey Diva: Tough to choose one favorite!  I personally love Tangled.  I could watch it over and over.  I like the music and I like the characters, even Mother Gothel.
D’land Diva: UP.  The love story between Carl and Ellie cannot be beat.  You know what movie is really good and seriously underrated?  Meet the Robinsons.
British Diva: For nostalgia it is Mary Poppins.  Surefire tearjerker is UP, and for swashbuckling adventure it is Pirates of the Caribbean!
Nick the Disney Devo: This is very difficult.  My first movie was Bambi.  And there are the ‘Package Films’, such as Make Mine Music or Ichabod and Mr. Toad, which contain cartoons that define my childhood such as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  But the whole Disney animated renaissance from the Little Mermaid through to the Lion King was what made me the Disney nut I am today.  And I have really liked what they have done in the last few years since The Princess and the Frog!  Now if we go Pixar, absolutely Wall-E or Ratatouille.  Up was heart wrenching but just beautiful.  Okay, just one?  Little Mermaid.
Canadian Diva: The Fox and the Hound!  Love Copper and Todd.  Best BFF movie ever (and bromance movie before bromance was in)!
Pirate Diva: I would have to say Hocus Pocus.  It’s off the wall, but totally hilarious.  I loved it so much as a teenager, that I even named by cat Binx.
Darlin’ Diva: It’s Beauty and the Beast!  Fantastic characters, great songs, Belle’s an excellent role model.
Disney Fashionista Diva:  My favorite is the Little Mermaid.  I was 4 years old and my first time at the theater.  After seeing the movie it was the first time I felt like I could be anything.  This has continued to be my favorite movie and still to this day when I’m feeling down about not getting something done or being farther than I thought I would in life, I turn on this movie and it reminds me that I don’t know when or how, but my dreams will happen if I just keep working hard.
Tinker Boy: Mine are Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, and Tangled.
Character Diva: Only one?! Oh there’s so many to choose from.  My favorite growing up was Alice in Wonderland because I loved the opening scene with Alice and Dinah sitting on the riverbank, surrounded by daisies and the little brook.  I always wanted my future backyard to look like that.  Still working on it!  But honestly, there are so many Disney movies I love; I think it’s better to ask which ones were ‘eh’.  That list is much shorter.
Princess and the Blog Diva: My favorite Disney movie is the Princess and the Frog.  I am from Louisiana, so I love that the story takes place in New Orleans.  The writers did an amazing job at showcasing how great Louisiana is and incorporating the Cajun theme.  I also love Ray, and if I ever have a daughter I am going to name her Evangeline.
Dreamin’ Diva:  You’re making me pick one?  That is so hard!  I guess I would go with Beauty and the Beast.  Every son is so catchy!  I can literally sing along to the ENTIRE movie.  And what girl doesn’t envy that gorgeous ball gown…and that library!
Road Trip Diva:  Hands down it must be Fox and the Hound.  It is so cute and it sends an all important message that I try to teach my kids everyday: Just because someone is different does not mean they are wrong or less than.
InspireDiva:  My favorite Disney movie has always been Sleeping Beauty.  When I was little I LOVED singing and dancing along with it.  My dad would spin me around and let me dance on his feet.  I have great memories associated with it.
Princess Diva:  I’m going to go along with the majority and say the Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie, with Alice in Wonderland coming in a close second.  More than anything I love the color in these movies and how bright and vivid everything seems.  I love the fantasy and imagination of traveling under the sea or getting lost in Wonderland.
I think we put together a pretty impressive list…are there any that we missed?  Tell us what your favorite Disney movie is and check out some of our other favorite things!
