Top 5 Snacks at Disneyland and California Adventure

Top 5 Snacks at Disneyland and California Adventure

By: Inspire Diva When you talk about buying snacks at Disneyland you can run into some conflicting views. For instance, you could bring in your own snacks to save money at Disney, presumably for other Disney related items. You could also swing the total opposite direction and go all out and try every kind of snack there, without a care about money. I’m probably somewhere in the middle and I’m of the view point that you are at Disney, so you should buy the snacks and enjoy every delicious moment. If you walk around watching people eat the world’s greatest churros while you try and scarf down your strawberry and sawdust flavored Nutrigrain bar, you will just be disappointed. So, as someone who embraces snacking in her everyday life as well as at Disney. I say go for it! With that being said we do try to save money at Disney even though we buy snacks we almost always share and I set a daily snack budget of $40 so that averages out to $10...

Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel: Candy Cane Inn, Anaheim

Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel: Candy Cane Inn, Anaheim

Author: Inspire Diva On the corner of Harbor and Katella, less than a 10 minute walk from Disneyland, you can find a charming little place to stay called the Candy Cane Inn. As you drive up and see the lovely grounds, it seems like a little oasis with the flowering ivy hanging from the second story patios. This hotel is one of Disneyland’s Good Neighbor Hotels and was ranked #2 out of 108 hotels in Anaheim, CA on Trip Advisor. This is the main reason that I booked with them. Plus they had excellent reviews! \ I found check-in to be a breeze. The staff was both helpful and accommodating. We found out that they offer a $10 off per night discount for Disneyland Annual Pass Holders. (Can you say score? Man I love a good deal!) Since we arrived in town around 10:00 am and our check-in was at 3:00 pm we were just a little early… but that was no problem. They found a room right away and let us check right in. We also needed to find a...

Disneyland… What Keeps Us Coming Back Repeatedly

Disneyland… What Keeps Us Coming Back Repeatedly

Written by: InspireDiva As lovers of Disneyland and all that is Disney, what is it that keeps us returning? Even with the price increases there is a LARGE amount of us that just can’t stay away. The main reason of course is that Walt knew exactly what he was doing! He wanted to create a place where people could step out of the real world and into the magical. Everything about Disneyland is catered towards keeping you in the park and that in turn will keep you coming back. Doesn’t everything seem perfect when you are in the park? The park itself is immaculate, the customer service is incomparable (cast members are awesome), and the food service is excellent. You constantly hear happy music that reminds you of being a child, and the scents, don’t even get me started… AMAZING!!! Then you add on the attractions and character interactions they take it to a whole new world and it’s magical world full of wonder and imagination! Personally when I walk into the park,...

Dapper Day in Walt Disney World 2013

Dapper Day in Walt Disney World 2013

By Fantasmic Diva I was lucky enough to be able to attend Dapper Day in Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World this year and it was an amazing experience! Dapper Day is a day that is celebrated at multiple Disney Parks, including Disney World and Disneyland. It involves hundreds of dedicated Disney fans dressing up in the dapper outfits of the 50’s and 60’s to recreate not only the feeling of old Hollywood and the opening days of Disneyland when Walt and Lilly were there. It allows fans to meet and greet one another and make amazing friends with others who love the vintage age as much as they do. What are Dapper Day and Disneybounding? I first found out about Dapper Day on the internet (where I learn a great many things). There is a large following that correlates to the Disneybound phenomenon. People who attend Dapper Day tend to combine the two practices; there were a great many guests who make the colors of their dapper outfit...
