By Budget Diva My family of 5 loves going to Disney World each year. We live on a budget throughout the year and we save money where we can with coupons and various other methods. We do this so that we can afford to take a nice vacation each year to Disney World. A lot of people think that a Disney vacation is out of their price range, that they could not afford to go, etc. but let me tell you, chances are YOU can afford to go too! We set a budget at the beginning of each year for our family of 5. The budget is for the month and includes every bill that we receive (power, water, mortgage, car payment, insurance, cable, cell, etc.) and then our grocery budget and ‘extra’. Diva Tip: Adults can eat off the Kids Menu at Walt Disney World!

Author: Disney Diva Really wanting to save some cash on your next Disney vacation? When eating quick service (aka counter service) order off of the KIDS Menu instead of the adults. Let me see if I can break it down for you with an example: Pecos Bill’s in Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite places to eat! I love love love the burgers. The adults meal is a little pricy. It is an Angus burger, about 1/4 pound and the smallest version of the adult drink goes for $11.58 (pre-tax). The meal comes with a burger and fries. That’s it. You have to pay for that drink separately. The kids burger meal goes for $5.40 (pre-tax). It includes a burger, fries (if you want them), an additional side item (I had grapes) AND a small drink.
