Have you been to Hollywood and Vine lately for dinner? If not, you are missing out on dining with Minnie and friends for her seasonal dining dinner experience.
Depending on the dates of your trip, your seasonal dining experience will vary. We recently dined for the Holiday Dine, and the Springtime Dine this past May.

Minnie’s Holiday Dine, located at Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios features festive décor, great seasonal music and holiday-themed foods. Guests can expect to meet Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Daisy dressed in all-new holiday attire. There is also a special appearance by Santa Goofy!
Upon entering Hollywood & Vine, guests were then ushered for a picture with the Santa Goofy in front of a holiday backdrop.
Once seated, the characters come directly to your table. Typically at Hollywood and Vine, the characters come pretty quickly, but that isn’t always guaranteed. It’s always been said to allow 60-90 minutes for any character’s meal. We usually find this to be one of the best experiences of character interaction with any character dining. The characters do not seem rushed at all, and sometimes you end up seeing each character at least twice during our meal. Minnie, Mickey, Donald and Daisy were all wearing holiday attire! My favorite was Minnie’s sparkly red dress.
The all-you-can-eat buffet offers a wide variety of many classic dishes, as well as other tasty finds. The merry menu includes a create-your-own salad bar, soups, fruits and breads. I especially enjoyed the pretzel bread. Yummy! The cold bar also features peel-and-eat shrimp. Featured dishes include a carving station, side dishes include collard greens, green bean casserole, brussel sprouts, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and garlic mashed potatoes. A kids buffet area (frequented by many adults alike) offers chicken nuggets, traditional macaroni and cheese, tater tots, corn dog nuggets and broccoli.
During our meal, our server brought a paper holiday wreath was given to each of my children along with a sheet of stickers to decorate. This kept them happily occupied as the adults finished their meals.
Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine was a great dining experience for our family. The atmosphere, character meets and tasty food made this one of our favorite visits to Hollywood & Vine. The meal is a bit pricey currently starting at $54 for adults and $31 for children, but is comparable to other character dining prices at Walt Disney World. The Fantasmic! Dining package is also available with this meal (Military Diva explains how the Fantasmic! Dining package works here.) This meal is one dining credit when using the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations are highly recommended due to the popularity of this meal and can be made by online through Disney Dining.
