On our most recent magical Disney vacation, in October 2012, my kids and I had chose to eat at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom.

As you enter Main Street USA, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is on the right, next door to Town Square Theater.  Tony’s is designed and themed after Disney’s 1955 animated classic Lady and the Tramp. The classic lush Trattoria has French doors, an expansive white porch (great for watching the parades from), white washed exterior, and beautiful interior.  The lobby is decorated with Lady and the Tramp pictures and a television that is playing Lady and the Tramp.  There are comfortable seats and Tony’s check in counter in a well lit lobby.

Inside the dining area, there is a fountain and in the center of the fountain is a Lady and the Tramp statue. The inside of the restaurant has beautiful wood work, and a black and white checkered floor. On nice nights or days guests can eat on Tony’s patio, or be seated in the indoor sun room, and enjoy the decor of Lady and the Tramp. Divo Tip: When making your reservations, try to make them to be seated 30 minutes before one of the parades and request a patio seat for one of the best views.

Some of the appetizers include: Flavors of Italy, calamari, zucchini fries, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed greens, and soups. There are also sandwiches, flat breads  and salads which are some of the following: Meatball Sliders, Tony’s Flat Bread, Tony’s Fish of the Day, Chicken Florentine Calzone, and Chopped Salad.  Pasta includes some of the following: Spaghetti and Meatballs or Sausage, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parmigiana, Multi Grain Pasta Primavera, and Baked Ziti.  Then there is the sweet spot which includes some of the following:  Ice cream Bomb, Tiramisu’, Chocolate Cake, and Chef’s Signature Cheesecake.  The kids and I had the cheesecake and it was delicious.

The Chef’s Cheesecake. Delicious.

Say Cheese cake!

The cast members provide wonderful service and an enjoyable dining experience.
Reservations are highly recommended, you may make them up to 180 days in advance from your vacation.

The atmosphere is comfortable and kids and I thought the food was excellent.
