My family has always been big into music, so it’s no surprise that I have always noticed the music playing in all aspects of the parks. There was so much thought put into the sounds that you hear across the park. When Walt created Disneyland he made it known that he wanted a different soundtrack in all the different areas of each park with no overlap, and you can hear his wish being fulfilled daily at each park across the world.

Top Disney World Attraction Soundtracks

You’ll hear throughout the parks that there is a completely different feel to the audio with every step you take. Walk down Main Street U.S.A. and you’ll hear something different than Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland. The extent to which this has been executed is truly astounding.

That is why I have decided to create a list of my Top Walt Disney World Attraction Soundtracks. All of the attractions have their own unique soundtrack and nearly all of them are recognizable within the first minute of audio! Check out my list below and click on the attractions for more info!

Soarin’– I could listen to this soundtrack all day. I close my eyes and I am transported to that hang glider. I do have a soft spot for the original soundtrack from Soarin’ Over California, although the new version of the attraction is nice as well!

Haunted Mansion– This one gets stuck in my head every time I hear it- which I am not complaining about! Those grim grinning ghosts are so catchy! For me, you can’t think of Haunted Mansion without hearing this song playing through my head. This attraction is one of my favorites and the soundtrack is definitely a big part of that opinion.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends– I am particularly fond of the soundtrack for this EPCOT attraction because it comes from the musical at the Animal Kingdom. The musical is one of my favorite shows at any of the Disney Parks, so the first time I visited Nemo at this attraction it was a very pleasant surprise to hear the soundtrack from the musical playing while I rode! The other thing I love about this attraction is that it juxtapositions animation and music against the real-life aquarium which means that every time you ride you can experience something different!

Rock’n’Rollercoaster– You can’t go wrong with the soundtrack of an attraction that features a phenomenal rock and roll band. The soundtrack to this attraction starts in the queue and follows you through the entire attraction. Even after you get into the car and get strapped in you are still listening to the voice of Steven Tyler and the guitar notes from Joe Perry! As I said before, you can’t go wrong with Aerosmith!

Splash Mountain– This one is here for the nostalgia. The sounds and soundtrack to this is so iconic it can’t be left off this list! The voices of Brer Bear, Brer Rabbit, and Brer Fox guide you through the boat ride that ends with the (not so) surprise drop. The sounds of Splash Mountain are definitely one to experience with every trip!

Space Mountain– Even without words, this soundtrack is quintessential! You can hear the sounds of Tomorrowland laced through the entire track to Space Mountain. Of course, as you ride, the soundtrack is the last thing on your mind. But throughout the queue area and the gift shop you can truly experience the sounds of the future!

Pirates of the Caribbean– Yo Ho Yo Ho a pirate’s life for me! This is another one of those attractions that you automatically hear the soundtrack any time you mention the name. The boat ride is a favorite for so many guests that visit the parks!

It's a Small World Hawaiian Girls

it’s a small world– This attraction has very mixed opinions about its soundtrack. Some people hate it and others love it. I am on the losing side of this argument! I think there is something so charming about this ride and the song that goes along with it. Seeing the animatronic dolls from all across the world brings me joy. Now if you were to ask my husband he would have a completely different opinion, but we won’t go there…

All of these soundtracks are readily available on your favorite streaming platform. I use Spotify for most of my music needs and there are tons of playlists created by individual users or Disney accounts themself! Do a quick search and you’ll find endless hours of listening entertainment.
