How to Conquer the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on a Budget

Not every experience needs to scare you with dollars signs!  Many times people quickly think things are expensive just based on their title or what others have spent in the past. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is one of those names that people quickly think dollar signs! But the good news is, the Boutique can pretty much fit anyone’s budget- You can have an amazing experience with the special little girl or girls in your life without breaking the bank! Boys can also go to the Boutique for the Knight Package!

The Boutique is offered for girls and boys ages 3-12 years old. They have two locations for the boutique. One is inside Cinderella’s Castle inside Magic Kingdom and the second has it’s own location near Once Upon a Toy Store in Disney Springs Marketplace. An appointment is needed for both locations.  It is recommended to make your appointment about 180 days before your trip.  This allows you more flexibility and increases your odds of getting the exact day and time you are looking for.  Princess packages for the girls range from $59.95 plus tax up to $199.95 plus tax. If you are looking to make this a memorable and special experience, you can do so with the $59.95 package. For more details on packaging and pricing, you can find it here.  This is the package I choose for my daughter when we go to Disney World.

Disney Diva Tip: Bring your own princess dress! There is no need to have to buy it inside the boutique. You will be paying a much higher price than one you can buy at a retail store near you! You can also find great light-weight, machine-washable dresses from Mom Approved Costumes here. And if you use the code DISDIVA you even get a discount! So with that being said, my daughter wore her own dress to the boutique and we chose the Crown Package which consists of: a hairstyle of her choice, shimmer makeup, a princess cinch bag, princess sash and nail polish. If you do not think your child will sit and wait with the polish they will give you the bottle to take home with you. You also keep the comb and makeup pallet! I feel that for that price, you are getting a lot for your money. Given the fact that you are on vacation, I feel it’s a pretty good deal!  If there is a special little boy who wants to have something done, the knight package is great at $19.95! For that price, the child will receive: a hairdo, confetti, sword and shield!  Can’t beat that for $20!

This is an experience that should be done at least once! If you do not travel to Disney World often, then I highly recommend doing this!  The whole atmosphere is adorable!  When your little girl is made up to look like a princess, which is amazing in itself, it’s breathtaking. They turn her around at the end and the smile on her face totally makes the $59.95 worth it! I remember the first time my daughter did it and it sits freshly in my mind!
