Booking Your Park Reservations

Instruction for Making Your Disney Park Pass

To manage attendance while also helping Guests plan ahead before their arrival, Disney has introduced the new Disney Park Pass system. During this time, all Guests with valid admission are required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry, using this new online tool.

To enter a park, both a park reservation AND valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for each person in your party ages 3 and up (limit one park per day). NO park hopping is allowed at this time.

The Disney Park Pass system is open to Guests with valid admission. The number of Disney Park Pass reservation days you can hold at one time varies based on your plans:

*Disney Resort and other select hotel Guests with a valid theme park admission can make reservations for their length of stay.
*Annual Passholders can make theme park reservations for up to 3 days at a time and for their length of stay if staying at a Disney Resort or other select hotel.
*Existing ticket holders can make reservations for the number of days of valid theme park admission.

Park reservations will be available through September 26, 2021, based on your Resort stay and ticket eligibility or ticket eligibility window.

If you booked a vacation package, your ticket eligibility is tied to your package travel dates. To make a park reservation for a different date, be sure to modify your vacation package dates.

First, you will want to be logged into your My Disney Experience account.

On the menu at the top, you will want to go to the “My Disney Experience” menu. Hover over the words for the drop-down many to appear and click on the option for the Disney Park Pass System. Click Mark A Disney Park Reservation

You can  “Check Availability” in the middle/top of the “My Plans” page.

DIVA TIP: When you are logged in you will be able to check three different options for reservations: Disney Resort Guests, Annual Passholders, and Theme Park Ticket Guests. It seems each category has been allotted a certain amount of park passes.

Those of you familiar with the “old” FastPass+ system, will recognize the next steps.

Create Your Party, you will select the guests you will include your party for a theme park reservation. If a guest is not linked to your MDE already, you can “Add a Guest.” Click “Continue” to proceed after selecting your full party.

Then, Select your Park

DIVA TIP: If a theme park is grayed out, it means that theme park has no further reservations available for that park and/or day.

You will be required to select a time, the time shown is the park hours for the day.

Typically, we found the park operating hours to be the following:

Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Epcot: 11 am – 9:00 pm

Hollywood Studios: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm

Animal Kingdom: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

DIVA TIP: As of September 2020 park hours have been reduced for all four parks, either opening an hour later or closing an hour earlier. We aren’t sure if this is temporary, and the hours will go back, but it is important to check the hours before you leave to make sure they are accurate. Parking lots are not opening as early as they used to so guests can not line up for hours before the park opens.
