You are planning your next vacation, and you and your family want to go to Disney World.  You are wondering if  you should do all four parks or three?  Is it worth taking your kids to Epcot?  Are there plenty of things to do for your child(ren) to enjoy?
Epcot is an amazing place for adults and children. It is educational and fun with science and imagination.  World Showcase that has different cultures from around the world that offers food, drinks, souvenirs, and people to meet from each country.  Tip: Bring a good pair of tennis shoes for walking and rent a stroller for the little ones.  This park is one of the largest at Walt Disney World.

Kids have no fear- there is plenty here to cheer!  As soon as you enter the park if you look to the right just before the giant Epcot ball you can find characters through out the day at certain times for photos and autographs.  Next you have endless fun with attractions like: Test track, Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, The Sea with Nemo and Friends, The Character Spot, Soarin, The Land boat ride, The Gran Fiesta Tour featuring the three Caballeros boat ride, in Norway the Maelstrom a Viking boat voyage, and take a boat ride across World Showcase Lake.  Innovations East and West.  Another favorite child(ren) activity that my kids enjoy is the Epcot Passport.  For ten dollars you purchase a passport kit and work your way through World Showcase stopping at a Kidcot Fun Stop, getting the country stamp and something written in that country’s language by cast member from that country. It is a fun activity for them to do, and when they visit the Kidcot spot there is usually a activity for the kids to do.  When the passport tour is complete there are country stickers to place in the passport on the country page, are included with the kit along with a button.

Along your travels through Epcot, bring along the autograph books because there are character greeting spots all over and they will also just be walking around as well. Another fun activity, even though money is involved, is to purchase country flags made as a mini pin like what politicians wear on their suits lapel.

Pin trading is another activity your child(ren) can do if that something you want to invest in.  Head over to the Coca Cola Club Cool at the Innovations West, gives you taste Coca Cola flavors from around the world, this event is free.  Agent P’s Showcase Adventure, formally Kim Possible, certain days is a specific country day for kids like: Morocco days, or Japan days just to name a few.  Illuminations at Night, a spectacular light and firework show.

My kids taking another opportunity to use those autograph books.

Have fun trying on different hats and take a photo with a funny face.  Find a photo pass photographer and request a ” Magic Shot “, where they can add a little magic to your photo. There is one theme from Soarin that is only available to shoot at Epcot.

2009 pic of the kiddos having fun trying on Viking helmets in Norway.
The most important thing is family, you don’t matter what park you are at, or attraction, but who your are spending the time with.  Seeing the smiles from your children having fun is everything.  Enjoy or time together at Epcot.
Watch out for Stitch.  Enjoy your stay at Disney World.
