Olivia’s Cafe lunch menu.

By Frozen Diva

If you have stayed at the Old Key West resort, or are just visiting the Walt Disney World resort, Olivia’s Cafe should be one of your stops. Olivia’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is off the beaten track. It is relatively easy to obtain a  reservation at Olivia’s and more often than not it is very easy to walk right in and be seated, or only have to wait for a few minutes.

Personally, I really enjoy Olivia’s for breakfast. Their menu is very American and is comparable to a diner’s menu. It features classics like french toast, biscuits and gravy (my favorite), pancakes, and eggs Benedict. It is nice to wake up and eat at a restaurant that is not very crowded, and something that is very relaxed.  It is not a character dining experience so there are not a lot of children around as well.  It is a very good spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and fuel up before a busy day at the parks.

Lunch features soups, salads, and burgers. The lunch crowd is pretty small, but that’s what makes Olivia’s a must do for me.  It is a great time to connect with your server and all of the other cast members who work there.  My favorite dish at Olivia’s is served during lunch and it is the Duval Street Burger.  It is yummy! A juicy burger, topped with shrimp, avocado, a mango ketchup, pepper jack cheese, and pico de gallo. It is also served with a choice of fries, coleslaw, or Olivia’s homemade potato chips.

Dinner features a menu with steak, fish, ribs, and pork chop options.  I have never eaten at Olivia’s for dinner, but I am sure it would make a perfect stop if your party is just arriving to the Walt Disney World resort and don’t want to run to the parks yet.

All of the cast members who work at Olivia’s are very friendly and a lot of fun. Olivia’s is included in the Disney Dining Plan, just using one full service entitlement during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member who’s home resort is Old Key West, if you send in a family photo they will display it!  It is also fun to take a look at a lot of the photos before or after your meal, some of the older ones are pretty funny! This is a restaurant that does see regulars, especially those who are Vacation Club owners at Old Key West, the cast members are very friendly, and will make it a point to make conversation with you, and really make you feel welcome.  Also, Olivia’s features a huge pin board right at the front of the restaurant, so that is also a good fun for those pin traders in the group!

Another thing is, it is not very pricey! A lot of the restaurants in the Walt Disney World resort are pretty expensive, but Olivia’s meals are all under $14.99. Olivia’s is a great place for the whole family, and is a great Walt Disney World restaurant because it is not too crowded, and its a great option for dining when you and your party would like to take some time to get out of the theme parks.
