The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are SO much fun! So much fun that my children begged every single day to ride the carpets again! We ended up riding this attraction 4 times!

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are conveniently located in Adventureland beside the Sunshine Tree Terrace (where you will want to grab a yummy citrus swirl or Dole Whip) and across from the Enchanted Tiki Room.

This ride is basically the same ride as Dumbo in Storybook Circus, but themed like the movie Aladdin. One big difference is that there is room for 4, 2 in the front and 2 (or 3 in our case-my husband held the baby) in the back. Children under age 7 must be accompanied by someone age 14 or older.

As in the Dumbo attraction, there are stick controllers. The one in the front row controls how high or low you go, while the on in the back tilts you forward or backward for a truly authentic magic carpet feel.

The carpets soar high above Adventureland and if you’re not careful you might get squirted by a spitting camel! Which only adds to the fun!

Scream Factor: 1
Do not ride if you have: Extreme motion sickness, fear of heights, bad knees.
