At the 2017 D23 Expo, the Honda booth was all about Minnie! Expo guests got to take in the essence of Minnie’s style with a myriad of dresses worn by the fashionista herself. Take a look at the different looks Minnie Mouse has sported through the years.

Designed by Disneyland Paris

Eager to join the fairytale fun, Minnie Mouse wore this whimsical outfit for Disneyland Paris’ 20th Anniversary Celebration in 2012.

Her beautiful pink and purple ombre ensemble captures the magic of an enchantress with embroidered stars and crescent moons decorating her bell-sleeved dress. A sash with Minnie’s signature bow ties the whole look together.”

 

 

 

D23 Expo 2017: Celebrating Minnie at the Honda Booth“Disneyland Resort 60th Anniversary 2015

Designed by Character Programs & Development

Minnie Mouse donned an effervescent party dress to celebrate Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary in the spring of 2015.

In honor of the Diamond Celebration, Minnie’s sequined dress is overlaid with a bouncy chiffon embellished with sparkling rhinestones. The dress is accented by bright blue pops of color and a dazzling display of crystal gems at the neckline and belt.”

Minnie Mouse looked stunning in this elegant dress created for Shanghai Disney Resort’s Grand Opening on June 17, 2016.

Her iconic silhouette is recreated in soft tones of pink, with gold accents that match the celebration’s gilded theme, and shoes adorned with Chinese roses.”

Designed by Christian Siriano

Christian Siriano designed this custom dress for Minnie Mouse to wear during the 2015 Rock the Dots interactive fashion and art installation.

To capture the iconic style of National Polka Dot Day, Siriano drew inspiration from Minnie Mouse’s playful attitude and reimagined her classic polka dots and chic bows and a sprinkling of sparkle.”

Designed by Olympia Le-Tan

Minnie Mouse’s stunning outfit was designed by Olympia Le-Tan for the opening of 2017’s Minnie Rocks the Dots on National Polka Dot Day.

Shimmering in sequins, the dress was custom dyed a vivid Blue de France and topped with 53 custom appliqued polka dots in a scale and pattern that only Minnie can rock! Patent leather accents pair perfectly with the qlitz of a little sequin dress. Inspired by the signature monogram belt buckles of Olympia Le-Tan, this bespoke “Minnie-Gram” (Minnie Monogram) was custom sculpted and 3-D printed, with a chic black matte finish.”

Minnie Mouse dazzled in a Lanvin Paris original by Alber Elbaz in celebration of Disneyland Paris’ 20th Anniversary.

Richly decked out in deep purple neoprene, beautifully sculpted shoulders, and sparkling jewels in a one of a kind dress fit for royalty!”

 

 

 

 

 

D23 Expo 2017: Celebrating Minnie at the Honda Booth“Fashion Los Angeles Awards 2017

Designed by Stacey Bendet of Alice + Olivia

Minnie Mouse dazzled on the red carpet wearing this glamorous ensemble designed by Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet for the 2017 Fashion Los Angeles Awards.

Bendet gave Minnie Mouse a modern, high-low gown decked out with 176 striking polka dots, covered in over 14,000 hand-applied, jet black crystals. Bendet added a surprise kiss lining to give the dress a touch of Minnie fun. Finishing the look with a pair of rose red heels. “

 

 

 

 

 

D23 Expo 2017: Celebrating Minnie at the Honda Booth“Mink and Roses Russian Vogue 2008

Designed by Oleg Ovsiyoy

Minnie Mouse starred alongside Russian model Masha Tylena in this mink and roses ensemble designed by Oleg Ovsiyoy as one of nine outfits for Russian Vogue’s April 2008 Issue.

To enjoy her “Vacation in Moscow”, Minnie donned a luxurious velveteen jacket lined with faux mink fur and accented with intricate beaded clasps. Vibrant roses quilted with sequins and wonderfully textured red textiles are beautifully scattered across her full, jet-black shirt! Ovsiyoy wraps up the look with cozy faux fur-lined roots.”

 

 

 

 

D23 Expo 2017: Celebrating Minnie at the Honda Booth“Tokyo Disney Sea 15th Anniversary 2016

Designed by Tokyo Disneyland Resort

To celebrate Tokyo Disney Sea’s 15th Anniversary in 2016, Minnie Mouse wore this fanciful outfit during The Year of Wishes.

The red and white ombre dress is accented with blue pinstripes reminiscent of a traditional sailor dress, paired with a gorgeous blue outer layer that flutters and sparkles like the sea!”

 

 

 

 

D23 Expo 2017: Celebrating Minnie at the Honda Booth“Hong Kong Disneyland 10th Anniversary 2015

Designed by Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

Minnie Mouse was ready to celebrate in this outfit designed for the Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10th Anniversary in 2015.

To match the cheerful festivities, her light-yellow dress is covered in colorful polka dots and dances with red and purple ruffles. No detail overlooked, Minnie’s shoes are adorned with parti-colored bows like a fabulous present.”

 

 

 

 

After fawning over these luscious styles, guests also got to experience a one of a kind “Minnie” Van created with a Honda Odyssey specifically for the D23 Expo (not for sale). They even got a special pin to commemorate the occasion!

This was by far my favorite booth at the 2017 D23 Expo. With the amazing fashions to take in from all over the world as well as a chance to see my Disney dream car – I was one happy gal! Plus, as Pin Trading Diva, I was happy I got to walk away with a free pin.
