One of my favorite things to do when I visit Walt Disney World is meet the characters that walk around the park. Whether its joking around with Mike and Sully, swooning over one of the princes, or swapping hair tips with Rapunzel, I love talking to the characters.  I think I look forward to that more than the little ones do. But everyone’s inner child comes out when in Disney, right? Here are a few of my favorite characters to interact with in Disney World.

Princess Tiana– Don’t worry, you won’t be talking to a frog! Tiana is in her beautiful green lily pad dress. Most nights Prince Naveen takes a break from IMG_4018making Gumbo at the restaurant and joins Tiana, so you can meet him too! She will tell you stories about her adventures as a frog, Louis’ trumpet playing, Ray and Evangeline and even about the spooky shadow man. Tip: You can meet this princess in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom under the gazebo.

IMG_3161Mary Poppins– Ever tried to say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards? I have and it didn’t go so well! You can meet Mary and ask her to say it with out a hiccup, after all she is practically perfect in every way! If you’re lucky, one of IMG_3665the penguins will be escorting her and you can take a picture with both of them! Tip: You can find Miss Mary right outside of The Chapeau on Main Street in MK, in the UK pavilion in Epcot, by the Main Street Train Station right when you enter the MK, and if you are lucky you might get to ride the carousel with Mary and Bert!

IMG_2201Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella– If you are looking to hang out with funny, silly, loud ladies then these are the gals for you. This hilarious trio are waiting to sing for you but you might not want to ask them too, they are not very good! Tip: You can find this devilishly funny family if you go through Cinderella’s castle and go to the left.

IMG_3697 (1)Gaston– Ahh what can I say about Gaston? Well actually there are plenty of things to say about him, he has a whole song dedicated to how great he is! I personally like the swell cleft in his chin, but I won’t get into that! Gaston has to be my all time favorite character to visit in the Disney park. Not only is he easy on the eyes, he is also hilarious! You can ask him to arm wrestle or even challenge him to a push up contest, he will always be eager and more than happy show off his muscles Tip: You can meet everyone’s favorite guy in New Fantasyland by Gaston’s Tavern.

Woody and Buzz– Hanging out with this dynamic duo is always a treat, you never know what silly things are going to happen. When I went to visit these guys Buzz took my mom’s hat and pretended to be Mrs. Nesbit. You can also see Buzz transform into Latin Buzz right before your IMG_2999IMG_2996eyes! Woody is always happy to reach for the sky and check if there is a snake in your boot! Tip: The Space Ranger Buzz and Rootin’ Tootin’ Cowboy Woody can be seen in Hollywood Studios in Pixar Place. Woody can also be seen with his cowgirl friend, Jessie, in the Magic Kingdom in Frontierland. Buzz can also be seen in TomorrowLand in the Magic Kingdom by his ride, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Character meet and greets are one of the best interactive experiences in Disney World and is something not to miss. It can be the best part of your trip and can make your trip special, It defiantly does for me!
