Have you taken a look at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa? It has a beautiful architectural design elements that will have you feeling like you are in the lap of luxury on your next Disneyland vacation.

Let me share some of my favorite elements with you!

The room we were in had double beds and a balcony, as well as a large flat screen television

The rooms was large, open, comfortable and delivered many amenities that are great when you are on vacation. For example, a laundry, daycare, and a valet

It shares many features with Disney’s Wilderness Lodge as architect Peter Dominick designed both. Think rustic, dark wood and craftsman style feel.

The bathroom withe shower/restroom off to the right

When you come into the lobby there are beautiful chandeliers, a story time center and that true feel of Disney Magic welcomes you !

Beautiful high ceilings, multiple rustic style chandeliers

There are also some beautiful balconies that overlook the main lobby. It appears to be a large walk in fire place, doesn’t it? In fact it is another room you walk into/through!

As you can see in this map of Disneyland, The Grand Californian is attached to Disney’s California Adventure Park and directly across from Disneyland Park!!

Yes you read that correctly, you walk out the back doors of The Grand Californian and by the pool, take a left and there is the entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park!!
It is the perfect location!! It is centrally located to all things Disney,!

Downtown Disney is right there and the views from the hotel are beyond amazing also since many of the rooms overlook Disney’s California Adventure park:

You can even sneak a view from The Grand Californian of the ongoing construction in the park

The Grand Californian also had a beautiful spa attached to it and they offer a few unique spa treatments. Some of those include: Couple’s Pavilion, 8 private spa therapy rooms, Relaxation Lounge for men and women, 2 Nail Bar/Bank, 2 Separate men and women’s sauna, steam and changing facilities. {Disclaimer: I have not visited the spa}

And last but definitely not least…the places to eat on property!

You will drool over Napa Rose, The Storytellers Cafe, White Water Snacks and Hearthstone Lounge.
Napa Rose is beyond beautiful just from the window! {we had reservations but unfortunately were unable to make them!} Hearthstone Lounge is a bar by night and a continental breakfast area by day! You have the ability to get cozy at the bar for a drink or enjoy pastries and coffee in the morning.

If you have had an experience at any Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort and want similar amenities for your Disneyland vacation I believe you can’t go wrong with the Grand Californian!

Best wishes,
