In 4 days my husband and are taking our children on a vacation. They think we are heading to a city about two hours away that has a good children’s museum, great aquarium, and some neat caves to explore. They’ve been there on a “stay-cation” about 3 years ago, but they don’t really remember much about the trip. In reality, we are hopping on a plane to Disney World for a Thursday-Sunday get-away before our annual passes expire.
As you might have read in another of my posts, Priceline has given us some really good deals and we are using a really inexpensive airline carrier named Allegiant Air. The goal? To spend 3 nights and 2.5 days in Disney World for under $1,000. (remember, we have annual passes that have already paid for themselves, so the most expensive part of WDW, the tickets, are removed from costs).
In order to help defray costs on our airline we are opting not to check baggage and limit ourselves to the 1 personal item (for each one of us it will be a backpack) and 1 carry on (meeting airline dimensions requirements of course). With airline baggage costs getting ridiculous this cost-saving packing can help anybody!
So what will the Diva family of 4 be putting on their bodies for flight and into those 4 backpacks and 4 carry-on luggage? Here’s our list. Feel free to use/ modify it for your own family’s upcoming trips.

This bag will actually be folded up and carried in Daddy Diva’s bag so it can be used to bring home any “goodies” we buy while we are there without paying extra fees.
