“Teen Beach Movie” has an awesome & totally gnarly soundtrack.
If you were smitten by High School Musical, then you’re going to totally hang ten for the “TEEN BEACH MOVIE”!
The soundtrack has a very retro feel to it…..
The sounds of the sixties pop era have really been recaptured; so if you’ve been longing to hear some modern day Beach Boy style ‘surfs up’ hits, then this will most definitely be music to your ears….echoes of those delicious Ronnettes harmonies can be heard right there in the mix too!
I love track 1 – ‘Falling for Ya‘; & it’s great use of the stylophone!
Track 2 – ‘Oxygen‘ is another firm favourite because it’s just so fresh & zesty.
The whole sound is totally reminiscent of the golden summers of the swinging 60’s, full of lemon popsicles & candy stripes!
Bodacious family listening for all beach buddies aged between 5 & 14 years!
Junior British Devo (aged 11) thought that all the tracks sounded upbeat & happy, with his favourite being track 11; the guitar lead & quite rocky ‘Surf Crazy Finale‘. This CD would be great loaded onto your iPod and would most definitely sound better at the beach!
Totally rad for those long summer holiday (vacation) surfin’ safaris & road trips too!
